Nick Gibson

Nick is Director of Compliance Solutions with Chase Cooper, leading a business-oriented compliance practice centred around Compliance function development and change management, conduct issues and problem resolution, regulatory relationship management, practical and example-based compliance training through multiple delivery mechanisms, and the development of dynamic, commercial compliance monitoring solutions.

Nick has over 20 years of regulatory compliance and training experience, initially as a regulator with the SFA and its predecessors, and subsequently with ABN AMRO compliance functions with responsibilities for UK, European, Global Wholesale and Group activities. He is widely acknowledged as a European expert on the practical implementation and impact of MiFID, having led the Regulatory Stream for ABN AMRO’s pan-European, cross-business line implementation programme for 21 months.
