This one day intensive workshop is aimed at business professionals who will be effected by MiFID or require a clear understanding of MiFID and wish to be equipped with the knowledge to steer a steady course through the new and extensive regulatory requirements imposed by MiFID.
Legislation for MiFID is due to be passed by the end of January 2007 with implementation required by November 2007. Studies estimating expenditure for MiFID indicate staggeringly large figures. The FSA website refers to 'new and extensive' Conduct of Business requirements resulting from MiFID and the need to plan early. Senior executives need to be confident that their approach and decisions relating to MiFID are proportionate, appropriate and will achieve regulatory compliance cost-effectively whilst causing minimum disruption to day-to-day business.
Attendance at this workshop will equip participants with the fundamentals of MiFID, relevant background, and the necessary framework to evaluate impact on their business and to evaluate options to get their firms to regulatory compliance with MiFID.
