Working with a leading private banking/investment management/wealth management business to embed and monitor risk management processes within the operations function. This is not a standard operational risk management role, as it is very closely aligned to the actual business units.
You will be responsible for a small team testing and monitoring risk assessment and mitigation processes, MI reporting, change management and process improvement, and undertaking root cause analysis where errors occur.
Most likely, you will have some kind of risk and control experience gained within a banking company (either in Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk, Operational Controls or Internal Audit) or you will have worked for a "Big 4" or similar consulting firm looking at risk assurance and/or business controls around banking operations.
Ideally, but not essentially, you will be a qualified account (ACA, ACCA,CIMA) or P/Q or maybe you will have a MBA. |
