An exciting opportunity has arisen for an articulate graduate with at least 2 years’ operational risk experience gained within a banking or investment banking environment for this very well respected Asset Management company. Reporting to the Enterprise Risk Manager, you will make a personal contribution to the development of the company's award winning Risk Management function.
You will:
- Develop excellent working relationships across the company, particularly with the numerous departmental Risk Representatives, local Controls teams, Compliance and Internal Audit
- Assist in the running of RCSA workshops and the development and embedding of firm-wide KRIs and KCIs
- Monitor and analyse loss and near-miss data to identify trends
- Produce regular summarised Risk Reports for the Risk Committee and business functions across the firm
- Keep Risk data current
- Manage the technical relationship with the company's risk system vendors
- Train new users of the risk system
- Understand and keep abreast of key external drivers such as Basel II and recommend appropriate solutions
