Major securities and investment banking group based in the City is seeking an articulate Operational Risk Support analyst to assist the Head of Operational Risk.
Your role will be to:
- Assist in the implementation of a new Operational Risk Management system
- Conduct workshops with the business units and support functions to understand user requirements
- Assist with the configuration of the ORM system ( KRIs, loss capture, heat-map reports etc)
- Manage the migration of historical OpRisk data
- Provide training to operational risk users
- Hold meetings with senior management to support the roll-out of new OpRisk Framework Policy
Ideally you will have at least:
- 4+ years experience working within an OpRisk function in the financial sector (preferably investment bank/trading sales)
- Strong communication skills and ability to challenge senior management
- Experience in the implementation of an operational risk system and roll-out of operational risk policy
- Strong organisational/ prioritisational skills
- Self -confidence
