In a statement today, Chase Cooper, a market leader in compliance solutions, announced that it is appointing John Thirlwell to its main board as a Non-Executive Director. Thirlwell is a well respected and recognised figure in Operational Risk and has held a number of senior executive positions in banks. Latterly, he was a Director of the British Bankers’ Association, with a particular responsibility for risk issues, including operational risk, and set up and chaired the BBA’s Global Operational Loss Database. He is a frequent speaker and writer on risk and regulatory matters.
